Mike Grimes is a Chickasaw Nation citizen who has spent his career making sure his community accesses the health protections they are entitled to. That community-first mindset applies to every client we serve — Native or not.

How RedHealth Advisors began.
RedHealth Advisors started on a youth baseball field. Ryan Hutson was the head coach. Mike Grimes was his assistant. Mike's son played on their team. Between practices and games — somewhere in the chaos of coaching kids and talking about life — two people from completely different backgrounds found the same gap.
Mike had spent years in insurance watching Native families miss health protections federal law already guaranteed them. Ryan had spent years in corporate sales and would later spend years navigating cancer, unexpected emergencies, and the moments when coverage decisions matter most. Both of them knew the system was failing people. In January 2026 they formalized RedHealth Advisors — because everyone deserves a real conversation with someone who understands what is actually at stake.

Mike Grimes is a Chickasaw Nation citizen with Choctaw and Cherokee lineage, and the Co-Founder of RedHealth Advisors. A former Special Educator and 14-year mortgage industry veteran, Mike brings the patience of a teacher and the precision of a financial professional to every client conversation. He specializes in ACA health coverage for American Indian and Alaska Native communities — helping tribal citizens access federal health protections most have never been told about. As Chairman of the Texas Chickasaw Council and founder of the Toli Sports Foundation, Mike's work at RHA is deeply personal. He is also a licensed health and life insurance advisor in Texas and Oklahoma serving individuals, families, and small businesses with ACA plans, supplemental coverage, and LIFT wealth strategies.

Ryan Hutson is Co-Founder and COO of RedHealth Advisors, a former professional baseball player (New York Mets), and a Dell Technologies sales veteran who found his way to insurance the hard way — through a kidney cancer diagnosis in 2021 and his son's brain tumor diagnosis in 2025. Those experiences gave him something no training can replicate: a firsthand understanding of exactly what is at stake when families face the healthcare system without the right coverage. Ryan is a licensed health and life insurance advisor in Texas and Oklahoma, specializing in ACA individual coverage, supplemental products, and small business ICHRA solutions.
